Realme, the competitor of Xiaomi, arrives in France with a smartphone at 199 dollars

Belonging to the same Chinese group as Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo.

The brand Realme arrives in France with an entry-level Android smartphone that comes to hunt on the lands of Xiaomi.

On June 5, 2019, the release of Realme 3 Pro on the French market will mark the arrival of a new Chinese smartphone manufacturer.

Offering a first ambitious mid-range model.

Realme is positioning itself as a direct competitor of Xiaomi , another Chinese implanted in France for a year now.

But also of Honor the Huawei subsidiary that is very popular here.

Realme has long been a sub-brand of Oppo before becoming independent in 2018. It nevertheless inherits technologies from its cousin, including its overcoat Android ColorOS.

In fact, Realme belongs to the huge Chinese group Electronics which besides Realme and Oppo also counts in its ranks OnePlus or Vivo.

Note that Realme does not only happen in France. The brand will also be distributed in June 2019 in Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom.

A 6.3-inch screen for the Realme 3 Pro


The brand clearly shows its ambition to offer quality equipment to a young population unable to spend a fortune to buy a smartphone but still looking for quality.

In this sense, it is placed more than ever in the same segment as Xiaomi and especially Honor.

Its first smartphone marketed in Europe will be the Realme 3 Pro , a 6.3-inch terminal available in two versions sold 199 euros (4 GB of Ram and 64 GB of available space) and 249 euros (6 GB of Ram and 128 GB storage).
